Alan has been part of TSSM’s HSC HSIE team since 2025 and has taken up opportunities to teach HSC Studies of Religion 1 & 2 to many students. This has provided him with the chance to quickly develop as a HSIE teacher, leading his students towards impressive scores.

Alan has been teaching since 2021. He is extremely knowledgeable, which gives him the ability to simplify difficult topics helping his students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Alan is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Alan also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in Studies of Religion.

Alan's teaching philosophy is centred on working with students from their own starting point, in order to achieve the goals, they have in mind. He also values ongoing feedback and reflection as a tool for understanding strengths, as well as areas to work on.
